Ingredients
¾ C warm water
1 T yeast
1 T honey
¼ C corn meal
¼ t salt
2 T olive oil
2 C flour
Procedure
- Mix 3/4 Cup of warm water, 1 T yeast, 1/4 cup of corn meal & 1T honey.
- Let sit until it starts to foam.
- Add 1C flour, 1/4 T salt and 2T of oil and mix well with spoon.
- Add 1C of flour and knead to create a soft, elastic dough.
- Let rise until double. T
- transfer to pizza pan sprayed with Pam and sprinkled with corn meal.
- I cook the crust for about 10 minutes at 400 and than add toppings. This is a thick crust but not usually as thick as it was in Tahoe.
- Cook about 15 to 20 minutes with toppings.
